I hold a Certificate in Editing from Simon Fraser University. My editing, writing, and communications background includes three years as a Project and Communications Lead at Ecstatic Designs, a creative agency here in Vancouver, where I worked closely with clients such as Destination Canada, Law Society of BC, WOODS on Pender, and more; three years as an Editor and Writer with an education consulting firm; and more than five years as a freelance editor. Throughout my career, I've partnered with creative professionals, students, artists, businesses, academics, and organizations to produce clear, engaging, and effective writing.

You don't have to know—that's what I'm here for. If you're unsure which editing service is the best fit, simply send me your document and tell me a little about your goals. I'll review your work and recommend the level of editing that will be the most helpful.

For example, if your ideas are still taking shape, you may benefit from developmental editing. If your writing is polished but needs smoother flow and clearer language, stylistic editing may be the right choice. If your document is nearly finished, copy editing or proofreading may be all you need.

If your project would benefit from a combination of services, I'll let you know before we begin so you know exactly what to expect.

The process begins with a conversation. You'll send me your document along with a brief description of your project, your goals, and any deadlines. I'll review your work and recommend the editing service that best fits your needs.

Once we've agreed on the scope of the project, timeline, and pricing, I'll edit your document using Track Changes (or another agreed-upon format, if you prefer). You'll receive an edited copy with my revisions and comments, along with a clean version upon request.

Throughout the process, we'll work together to establish a feedback loop that suits your needs. If you have questions about my edits or would like clarification on any feedback, I'm always happy to discuss them. My goal is not only to improve your writing, but also to help you feel confident in the final result.
